halloween

kitty cat and paul bunyan

play group halloween party

getting ready to go trick or treating!  landon loved riding in the wagon and holding his flashlight~

this was the only house landon decided to visit.  surprisingly, his response was a consistent "no," to anyone who asked him if he wanted candy.

loving their candy collection (which she forgot about the next day)
elisabeth pretends to love candy but when it comes down to it, m&ms are the only winner...or macaroni and cheese

...but a lollipop will do in a pinch ;)

burke nursery

elisabeth and landon, playing with their buddies, taffe and annabelle

bouncing away with belle

he threw a complete fit when i tried to take him off of the "big rig."  he loved driving!

is caroline here yet? how about now? now?

after a long 7 hour trek, kate, caroline and grandma finally arrived.  it was a crazy weekend filled with late night games of "run around the living room," detoured trolley tours, bloody marys, a face to face encounter with the intersection of 15th and New York,
cupcake decorating and a visit to Urgent Care.
These were the only good pics from the bunch...

Let's try again in the Spring...

the literalist

the conversation went something like this:

(frightful sound emenates from the back seat)

me: (gasp!)
"oh, my (giggle ;)) was that you?!"

elisabeth: "hahahahha! uh-huh."

me: "oh, my...wow. what do you say?  wait.  did you just poop in your pants?"

elisabeth: (uncontrollably laughs for a minute)
"mommmmmmy!"

me:  "no, seriously...did you just accidentally poop in your pants?"

elisabeth: (still cracking up)
"no...silly, mommmmy!  i'm not wearing any pants.  i'm wearing tights."

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, GOD, for keeping Elisabeth clean and dry ;)

a few from the farm

we went to cox farms this past weekend...such a beautiful fall day! even though we didn't feel like waiting in the 400 person line for the hayride, we had just as much fun riding every single slide, devouring boxes of kettle corn and rummaging through door prize pumpkin boxes.
that's just how we roll...

:)

kettle corn was a huge hit...they never even missed that hayride!

yay for pumpkins :)
